The writing part was fun as it forced me to write and post things that I wasn't completely happy with?
Yes learning to let go when you're not totally happy with a piece i think is important? ALSO one of the blessings with fanfic in particular is you can always go back and edit something later.... like i know some people don't like that but sometimes you can only get a clear editing eye months later, idk. I think it is one of the best parts of posting fanwork!!!
